All faculty members teaching at the Health Academy affiliated programs are expected to do the following:

  1. Create a psychologically safe learning climate that encourages learning.
  2. Clearly communicate the program’s learning objectives, program requirements, and standards of achievements to the trainees, and reinforce this understanding on regular intervals. 
  3. Be committed to perform their best in providing training, education, mentorship, and supervisory responsibilities.
  4. Attend teaching activities at scheduled times and when circumstances prevent this to immediately contact the program director and arrange an equivalent alternative instruction. 
  5. Teach modules in a manner that is consistent with the description in the program’s curriculum.
  6. Ensure consistency in program delivery in all programs taught. 
  7. Provide a fair and impartial unbiased evaluation of the trainee.
  8. Report any violations of the code of the Health Academy’s conduct by the trainees or other faculty that they become aware of to the program director / Health academy program coordinator.  
  9. Demonstrate respect for the trainees and maintain a healthy faculty-trainee relationship.
